Our attorneys are subject to professional rules regarding confidentiality. In Florida, confidentiality standards are promulgated in the Rules of Professional Conduct of the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar (“Rules”) as adopted and amended from time to time by the Florida Supreme Court. In addition to these requirements of confidentiality, additional requirements of confidentiality are required with respect to matters and communications which are subject to the attorney-client privilege. All current or former clients of Marks & Frazier, LLP are informed that all personnel at our firm adhere to the requirements of confidentiality under the Rules and the attorney-client privilege.
We retain documents and records relating to our work so that we can adequately respond to your requests and, in some cases, so that we can comply with certain professional guidelines regarding retention of records.
